Failing on my Blogging Job

I am failing on my blogging job. And I could come up with every excuse in the book but really I don't have a good one. I started a new job Jan. 5 and like everyother working mom my evenings are a mad house with dinner, bath and bed time. I will also be honest and tell you that I haven't even taken any pictures lately. I just have that " I will do it later" attitude. Rylan asked me the other day if she could have a back pack (Dora) party for her birthday. I can't believe she is about to be 2. Where does the time go!!!! She has really added a lot of words to her vocabulary just here in the past two weeks or so. She's never quiet now I can't imagine what she is going to be like in a couple of months or so. She is quite comical though. Colton is almost 5 months old and such a big boy. I took him to the dr yesterday and he weighs 17lbs and is 27 inches long.
He weighs as much as my niece Molly does and she is 2 months older than he is. Love Ya Molly!!! For those of you that don't know Clint got a promotion at work back in Oct or so(a little late letting everyone know). He was promoted to CPL. He likes it so far, a lot more paper work he says. Anyways, nothing more new with us. Hope to have some new pictures up soon.

Holiday Time

I apologize that it has taken me so long to get up new postings. Something was wrong with our computer for a little while and would not let you down load pics, and I've been slacking. With Christmas around the corner things have been crazy. I decided I was going to take a picture of the kids and send them out on cards. Well that DID NOT go so well. Either Colton or Rylan were crying, and once Rylan started she didn't stop. This first picture was the best and I dropped the ball and never got around to sending it to my sister for her to do them, and the computer was acting up. May be ill do them for a late x-mas sort of thing, who knows. I'm sure ill forget by then. My favorite is Colton sitting in the chair by himself, he looks like such a little man.

A couple of weeks or so ago(i don't know any more, i loose track these days) we hung x-mas lights outside. And of course we enlisted the help of Rylan and Colton. Both of them loved being outside. Rylan did more playing of course, but she was so excited when we turned them on that night, she was sooo proud of herself.

Rylan

As you can see Rylan likes to help with everything. She is a mess, some days i don't know what to do with her

It's tiring rocking your baby to sleepRy helping Nana put up x-mas decorations
Rylan getting into the x-mas spirit
Rylan helping Paw Paw fix her wagon

Colton

Colton is almost 4 months now and "growing like a bad weed" as my mom would say. Ok she got mad for saying that. She said she didn't mean he was bad but the he is growing way to fast. (she wanted me to clarify for everyone...lol)

Colton plotting against us
And still plotting

Spoiled, Spoiled, Spoiled!!!

Last night we went over to grandma and grandpa's. Before we left grandma kept asking Rylan if she wanted to take a bath and Rylan kept telling her NO. Grandma finally gave up and gave Colton a bath instead. While Colton was taking his bath Rylan decided that she did want to take a bath but only in the baby bath tub. Well grandma let her. I took this on my phone so it is not the best in the world.

Party Party Party!!!

This past weekend we went down to Cleveland ( Texas not Ohio) for my Aunt Jan's 50th birthday party. I spent most of my time inside with the kids but from what I heard fun was had by everyone there especially the birthday girl. The rest of the weekend we just played with the kids and did as little as possible. I mean come on, what else do you do at mamaws.

Susie Homemaker? NOT!!

I don't sew at all. I don't even sew on buttons and I have been told that is the easiest thing to do. Well this past weekend I turned to my mamaw for help. She showed me how to use a sewing machine. It wasn't the best job in the world but I can say that I did it all by myself. Don't expect me to be sewing anything big ANY time soon!!!
