Holiday Time

I apologize that it has taken me so long to get up new postings. Something was wrong with our computer for a little while and would not let you down load pics, and I've been slacking. With Christmas around the corner things have been crazy. I decided I was going to take a picture of the kids and send them out on cards. Well that DID NOT go so well. Either Colton or Rylan were crying, and once Rylan started she didn't stop. This first picture was the best and I dropped the ball and never got around to sending it to my sister for her to do them, and the computer was acting up. May be ill do them for a late x-mas sort of thing, who knows. I'm sure ill forget by then. My favorite is Colton sitting in the chair by himself, he looks like such a little man.

A couple of weeks or so ago(i don't know any more, i loose track these days) we hung x-mas lights outside. And of course we enlisted the help of Rylan and Colton. Both of them loved being outside. Rylan did more playing of course, but she was so excited when we turned them on that night, she was sooo proud of herself.

Rylan

As you can see Rylan likes to help with everything. She is a mess, some days i don't know what to do with her

It's tiring rocking your baby to sleepRy helping Nana put up x-mas decorations
Rylan getting into the x-mas spirit
Rylan helping Paw Paw fix her wagon

Colton

Colton is almost 4 months now and "growing like a bad weed" as my mom would say. Ok she got mad for saying that. She said she didn't mean he was bad but the he is growing way to fast. (she wanted me to clarify for everyone...lol)

Spoiled, Spoiled, Spoiled!!!

Last night we went over to grandma and grandpa's. Before we left grandma kept asking Rylan if she wanted to take a bath and Rylan kept telling her NO. Grandma finally gave up and gave Colton a bath instead. While Colton was taking his bath Rylan decided that she did want to take a bath but only in the baby bath tub. Well grandma let her. I took this on my phone so it is not the best in the world.

Party Party Party!!!

This past weekend we went down to Cleveland ( Texas not Ohio) for my Aunt Jan's 50th birthday party. I spent most of my time inside with the kids but from what I heard fun was had by everyone there especially the birthday girl. The rest of the weekend we just played with the kids and did as little as possible. I mean come on, what else do you do at mamaws.

Susie Homemaker? NOT!!

I don't sew at all. I don't even sew on buttons and I have been told that is the easiest thing to do. Well this past weekend I turned to my mamaw for help. She showed me how to use a sewing machine. It wasn't the best job in the world but I can say that I did it all by myself. Don't expect me to be sewing anything big ANY time soon!!!

Just Relaxing

Here lately we have tried not to do a whole lot and succeeded for the most part. Rylan has been dying to get into Coltons bouncer. She is more fascinated with the lights and the music than Colton is. So the other night Lori put her in it and turned it on and she sat there for a long time, she didn't want to get out. Yes, I got a pic of her and put it on here. Colton is getting so big and starting to smile and talk. I love this age because they laugh at you and have no idea that you really are not that funny, but it makes you feel so good

Halloween

We took the kids out trick or treating last night. Rylan was a lion, and a very scary one at that, and Colton, well he was just Colton. It was a lot of fun but i don't know if I'm looking forward to the days where we have to go to every house. Right now we can just get away with going to a few and we still got tons of candy.

Making Cookies

Tonight we decided to make Halloween cookies and Rylan got to help. And she was such a BIG help! The counter, floor and chair probably had a whole pound of flour on it by the time she got done.

hanging around the house

We haven't done much lately. Here are a few pics of the kids just hanging out. And no I did not put Rylan in the laundry basket, her daddy did.

Grandma & Grandpa's House

Sunday the kids and I went and spent the day at Clint's mom and dads. We usually do on the weekends I just remembered to bring my camera this time. Clint's sister Mandy came down and his other sister Amy and her two girls Abby and Alyssa also came over to play. Rylan and Alyssa are about 6 weeks apart and for the most part play very well together, they do have their moments. Rylan loves to go over there because Grandpa will take her outside to play ALL day, and she can do what ever she wants. Grandpa has a golf cart and takes the kids for rides just around the yard and they love it. By the time we get home Rylan is so tired from playing all day.
